ABOUT THE BAOBAB
Inspired by the sweeping natural curves of the Baobab tree, this central pedestal design maximises seating space around the table with a beautiful symmetry that makes it a functional sculpture. This table is part of the Elements Collection which is inspired by nature’s shapes and forms, married with materials and craftsmanship of the finest quality.
Every curved panel of this these multi-dimensional bases must be cut to millimetre perfection. All of the work can only be done by hand, welding the structure using a painstaking process before the full length of every single seam is polished on both faces. A durable powder coated finish connects the flowing curves with colour and creates the contrasting shadows that make these bases something incredibly special in the flesh.

DIMENSIONS
You can have all of our tables made to any size. Here are some size recommendations for this model, allowing approximately 600mm per diner. For more spacious seating, just allow a little extra.
A comfortable 6 seater. By not using the entire length of the table, this gives the diner's at each end a comfortable amount of table space.
A snug 8 or comfortable 6 seater. Increasing the width from 1100mm to 1200mm allows an additional diner to sit at each end, but with reduced table space for everyone.
A snug 8 or comfortable 6 seater. Increasing the length from 1600mm to 2000mm allows an additional diner to sit on each side, but with reduced table space for everyone.
