Made for Chalet Hôtel Blythe in Les Gets, a Shep & Kyles interior that The Times lists among the top 25 places to stay in the Alps. The top is one huge slab of Indonesian Suar, four metres long and 120mm thick, with rich chocolatey caramel tones running unbroken from end to end. One of the challenges was finding a piece this wide that retained such a uniform width: at 1.8 metres across, this was a truly colossal tree, and it had all the characteristics we were looking for. A really stunning piece of raw natural beauty, and one that will be appreciated and enjoyed by the guests of this exclusive chalet for many years to come.

This stunning space needed a special dining table at its centre. The interior designer came to us with a very specific vision, and we worked with them to bring it to life. The top is Entzo Dekton, 6.4 metres long and 1.2 metres wide, cut to a custom asymmetrical shape, and it sits on a fully bespoke curved Corian base. Dekton is ultra-durable, heat resistant and scratch resistant, so incredibly practical as well as beautiful. Around it are BN6W dining chairs, made in Italy with quilted backs. It seats twenty-two, and it is the largest Dekton table we have made. A beautifully curated dining area, now with a dining table to match.

A Baobab dining table with a 65mm thick Statement French Oak top, made as one of a three-table set. The dining table, coffee table and side table were all cut from a single French oak tree, so the colour tones and grain patterns match across all three. Our Statement French Oak tops use the widest slabs from a single QB1-grade tree, which is what gives the top its long sweeping grain and consistent colour from one end to the other. The sculpted black Baobab base contrasts beautifully with the pale oak, and the three tables together fit perfectly into this stylish open-plan space. A fantastic choice that will be well used and enjoyed.

One of our favourite Resin Infused Pippy Oak examples. This pippy oak is some of the rarest and most sought-after timber on the planet. It was fully encased and preserved in resin, and features a mesmerising Black Gold river of resin down its centre, which separates two huge slabs taken from the same ancient tree, so their character matches perfectly. This timber really tells a story. Every part of it is covered in character, some of nature's finest work. Finished with our signature double ceramic coating, the surface is silky smooth and extremely durable. This really is the perfect centrepiece for such a classy, opulent space.

A Solaris dining table with a Radium Dekton top, tailored to suit this gorgeous Victorian home. The black finish of the base and the dark Radium Dekton were chosen to match the moody colour scheme of the space, a bold but extremely well selected combination that fits beautifully into its surroundings. The Dekton table top is also incredibly tough. It is made using a similar process to man-made diamonds, forged at extreme pressures, making it ultra scratch resistant and heat proof, so hot pans can be placed directly onto its surface. All together, a perfectly selected centrepiece for this fabulous dining room.

Our Dekton and Oak tops bring together the very best natural and man-made materials, and this is a beautiful example. Two large slabs of Statement French Oak, taken from a single tree so the grain and colours match perfectly, run down each side with a Laurent Dekton centre. The bronze gold veins of the Dekton tie in perfectly with the oak either side, and the Dekton centre is heat, scratch and stain proof, so hot pans can go straight onto it. The oak brings the warmth and the Dekton the practicality, and the sculpted Baobab base, finished in black, grounds the whole thing. A really well chosen combination, and a compelling centrepiece that complements this lovely space perfectly.

A dream wine cellar like this doesn't come along very often, and it deserved a very special table. The top is a single slab of Indonesian Suar, 65mm thick and 1600 x 1000mm, cut to an oval, an unusual shape for this timber, with flowing grain and deep tones of chocolate and caramel. It stands on a curved steel pedestal base, finished in black, which we call the Tiger Lily. The eclectic mix of materials complement each other beautifully, and the thick suar slab makes a real stand-out centrepiece. A perfect choice of table for people to gather around and enjoy in this glorious space.

An extra large Muse dining table with a 65mm thick Statement French Oak top. Everything about this space is large and impressive, so the table needed to be something special. At 2600 x 1800mm it is far wider than a normal dining table, and that extra width is what gives it such presence. Very planted, and with 65mm of solid oak, very heavy. The top is Statement French Oak, cut from a single tree so the grain and colour flow across the whole surface. The Muse base is sculpted from sheet steel, with a clean oval window of light through the middle, and has a rock-solid, contemporary feel. This is a project that we're proud of, and one that we hope does justice to this incredible home.
