However this absolutely beautiful table is made from the 2 widest slabs from a French Oak tree, making it a very special table top. We designed this first Strata bench to go with the dining table, with extra stiffening from the brushed stainless steel frame to keep the slender 30mm thick oak flat and rigid at full seating capacity.
