At Abacus Tables, we specialise in extra large oak dining tables. Our tables are made to measure, so we can go up to virtually any size. Our average table is around 3 metres, and we regularly make tables at 4 metres plus.

There are two types of Oak to choose from – Standard French Oak and Statement French Oak.
If you want a really high-quality Oak table top, our Standard French Oak tops are a great option. However, if you want a striking centrepiece, our Statement French Oak tops are perfect. The main difference between the two is the width of the French Oak pieces, as well as the fact that the Statement tops come in three different thickness options.

We offer carefully selected dining chairs to complement the style of our large oak tables. To make sure your table is sized correctly to accommodate all
diners, it’s important to consider both the design of the table legs and the size of your preferred chairs.
A table with a central leg design can fit more chairs around it, but there may be some loss of leg room for the diners sitting level with the table leg.
On the other hand, a table with two or four legs will slightly reduce the amount of usable chair space, but is great for maximising stability and leg room
for all.
We suggest choosing the table design that best reflects your unique style, and then using our size guides (found on all product pages). If space is
restricted, you can either choose a dining chair that’s not too wide, or consider a bench for one side of the table as benches are generally an efficient
way to seat more people.
