This is a good example of a top made from 3 slabs from a single French oak tree, seamlessly jointed together into one piece. The grain patterns and colour tones match up beautifully – this is only possible because we buy our French oak in the form of whole trees (referred to as boules). The slabs are then carefully selected and cut so that they fit together beautifully. This particular tabletop is 65mm thick and has a knife-edge profile.
