We designed this entertainment unit specifically around the new equipment that Gareth was setting up for his home. The central compartment houses the large sub speaker and we made a removable baffle to protect it from dust. A huge amplifier lives in the left compartment and we made a reinforced shelf to take the weight, with cut-outs behind all the equipment to allow air to circulate for ventilation and sound quality. The chunky 65mm thick oak top has a live natural front edge, to tie it in with the rustic Arabica coffee table in the same room. The unit sits on 6mm thick oak feet to create a very subtle shadow gap.
