I designed the Alpha table to maximise the seating space along the side of the table, by pushing the legs closer to the ends of the table, but still having a design with style without impeding someone from sitting at the ends of the table. Wow did we go through some design variations to get to this final design!.. different leg locations, different gaps between legs, different leg angles…. But the result you can see perfectly in project which is a sort of modern version of a traditional 4-leg dining table. I think it has the feel of an Architect’s table, but I’m not sure why and I’m not sure an Architect would agree?
