Taking the time to correctly size and positioning of a coffee table really pays off. Too small and you just end up with an ornament that nobody can use (coffee rings and wine spills on the floor!). Too big and it will just drown the room and leave you with bruised shins for happily ever after. But get it right like this customer did and everyone not only has a practical table in easy reach and it is framed by the space around it to make a central feature of the room. As we advise everybody, the best method is to tape the outline of your ideal table with masking tape, then move the table until it’s just right, then measure your tape to get the ideal length, width and position of your table. Now you’ve just got to choose your legs….
