The brief for this project was to come up with a huge slab-style table that would make a really jaw-dropping centre-piece for a recently renovated dining room. The client liked the practicality of our central pedestal base as it allows maximum room for seating, so we combined this with a chunky 65mm thick oak top with live-edges to give the table some unique & rustic character. We were all very happy with the result, although our delivery team weren’t too happy with the weight of the top!
