This is a Komodo table but, instead of a premium French Oak top, this table has a top made from American Black Walnut (ABW). This timber has a very distinct look and colouring and it’s a very good quality timber with similar characteristics to French Oak. It’s especially difficult to find in large pieces in the UK and in this case we were lucky to have first pick from a fresh batch that had just arrived in the UK. You wont see many chunky 52mm thick tops made from ABW and, combined with the Diamond Black Komodo legs, it really makes an impressive table.
