Jo was an existing customer with an Arabica coffee table and Oak mantle beam. She wanted an outdoor table that was a real statement piece, but also to maximise seating capacity around the table. So we designed the AT1 table with slightly narrowed legs to allow the full length of the table to be used for seating and the design worked perfectly. For outdoor tables, we use an anti-corrosive zinc primer coat below the powder coating and also raise the legs slightly off the floor to avoid standing rainwater. Visually no different to an indoor table, but these extra measures prolong a table’s life in the elements.
