This table took one of our Baobab sculptural steel tables, customised the top shape to a flat-ended oval and then customised the top style with a central piece of heat-proof Dekton. The flat-ended oval is something we found to be a more practical shape for this table, not only necessary for the Dekton centre-piece to work but also allowing the ends of the table to be used for dining too, which isn’t easy with a conventional oval shape. The client chose a light grey finish, combined with the character Dekton Kelya and a light Aluminium grey base. It’s a fantastic example of how tweaking and combining some of our more standard colours and materials can produce something very special.
