Baobab

This projects shows how the Baobab table isn’t just a beautifully designed and sculpted table base, it is also incredibly strong and robust as you can see it here supporting a very heavy 2400 x 1200mm top in our chunkiest 65mm thick French Oak. The table top shows the lovely character features running through the tree in 3 wide slabs, jointed into this huge single-piece table top. I think an art critic might mention the irony of juxtaposing perfectly straight edges of natural material with the flowing curves of manmade steel. We just think it looks spectacular.
