As part of the order process, we’ll send you photos of the available slabs in your specified stone. You can then choose the slab you like best or explore different options until you’re 100% happy.
If you decide to order a table with a Suar top, once your payment has been received we’ll find the best slab available in the size that you’ve requested. You’ll then receive photos for your approval to ensure that you’re happy with our choice of timber before anything is made.
The thickness of these slabs varies from approximately 60mm to 150mm. Generally speaking, a 2m long slab will be around 60mm thick, a 3m slab will be 80-100mm, and anything over 4m in length will be 100mm plus in thickness. We’ll use our experience to make sure that the slab we select is of a thickness that works well for the base design and table size that you’ve chosen.
If you decide to order a table with a Resin Infused Pippy Oak top, once your payment has been received we’ll find the best oak available in the size that you’ve requested. You’ll then receive photos for your approval to ensure that you’re happy with our choice before anything is made.
The thickness of this timber is approximately 40mm. We’ll use our experience to make sure that the oak we select is of a thickness that works well for the base design and table size that you’ve chosen.

CHOOSE YOUR
DIMENSIONS
You can have all of our tables made to any size. Here are some size recommendations for this model, allowing approximately 600mm per diner. For more spacious seating, just allow a little extra.
A comfortable 6 seater. By not using the entire length of the table, this gives the diner's at each end a comfortable amount of table space.
A comfortable 8 seater. Increasing the width from 1100mm to 1500mm allows an additional diner to sit at each end.
A comfortable 8 seater. Increasing the length from 1600mm to 2200mm allows an additional diner to sit on each side.
A comfortable 10 seater. Increasing the width from 1100mm to 1500mm allows an additional diner to sit at each end.
A comfortable 10 seater. Increasing the length from 2200mm to 2800mm allows an additional diner to sit on each side.
A comfortable 12 seater. Increasing the width from 1100mm to 1500mm allows an additional diner to sit at each end.
A comfortable 12 seater. Increasing the length from 2800mm to 3400mm allows an additional diner to sit on each side.
A comfortable 14 seater. Increasing the width from 1100mm to 1500mm allows an additional diner to sit at each end.

With any large piece of timber, you simply cannot eliminate the risk of some natural movement such as cracking and twisting as it acclimatises to your home. If you can’t wait (or don’t want to wait) for your new table to be made, we’ll deliver you a beautiful, high-quality Abacus Courtesy Table to use while you wait for your order.
Trade In Option
If you ever move house and need a new table, we’ll take back your existing Abacus table and give you a significant discount towards a new one.
HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER
You can place your order by filling out an order form here. You’ll receive a confirmation email within 10 minutes to let you know that your order is being processed.
We’ll then generate an invoice and send it over within a few days. We accept all major credit cards (including Amex), so the purchase will be covered by your card provider. For your peace of mind, we’re also a member of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA Licence: 346229191).
